Our reception hours are 8.00 AM to 17.00 PM daily
- For any arrivals after this time, please contact reception during office hours to arrange for a late arrival procedure.
- An emergency only phone number is listed on the front door of reception which then provides a mobile number.

Accommodation
- All rooms are non-smoking. A special cleaning charge of $200 will apply should smoking occur in the apartment.
- We have a “No Pets Policy”, breach of policy will incur immediate eviction with loss of all monies paid and or due.
- Guests are responsible for any and all damage/breakages that occur in/to the apartment/furniture/fittings/equipment.
- The comfort of all guests is important and we strive to provide a pleasant relaxing environment. We ask for your consideration of other guests, and please adhere to our “No Noise Policy after 10 PM”.
The making of this booking and/or the occupancy of your apartment is:
- an acknowledgement of the acceptance of these terms and conditions and policies.
- an authority to charge to the credit card used in payment of all or part of this booking and/or provided as security for this booking and/or if accommodation is being charged back to an account, then to that account.

Powered Sites
- All guests must register with reception on arrival.
- Our Park map and Rules will be issued to guests on arrival.

- We are “PET FRIENDLY”.
- Pet owners are fully responsible for keeping pets contained at all times, and for appropriate disposal of any mess or faecal matter. For health and safety reasons, pets are not allowed in communal areas with exception to certified assistance animals only.
- Owners must accept full responsibility for their pet. Your pet must NOT cause harm, injury, bark or rush at any person or persons property, other animals or damage park property or grounds.

Payment Policy
A security deposit is required for a confirmed booking equal to one night’s accommodation/site for a short term booking, or a week’s accommodation for a longer term booking. (Excludes Easter, Christmas & the months of June to September)
During the months of June to September each year reservations on powered sites, full payment will apply on short term bookings.
Full payment is due for all bookings for the whole period booked upon check in unless authorized by the Manager.
Full payment for Easter and Christmas bookings are required one month prior to check in.
Minimum booking requirements, non-refundable, non-transferable deposits apply for all Easter and Christmas bookings. (Advised at time of enquiry)
Two night minimum stay apply for School Holidays and Public Holidays (except for Easter and Christmas).
NO refunds for early check out.

Cancellation Policy
- Bookings made prior to 31st December 2025, less than 30 days’ notice prior to arrival forfeits deposit, Bookings made after the 1st January 2026, less than 14 days’ notice prior to arrival forfeits deposit excluding Easter & Christmas(non-refundable, non-transferable deposits apply for all Easter and Christmas bookings) / or Sites only, During the months of June to September each year should a short term reservation be cancelled/amended the site will be required to be re-booked prior to a refund being processed.
- Easter & Christmas are non-refundable, non-transferable deposits therefore these reservations we will require the accommodation or site to be re-booked before a refund or guest credit of three months can be authorised.
- At the Managers discretion, a deposit (excluding Easter & Christmas) may be authorised as a transfer to guest credit to be used within 3 months. No refund will apply.
- Guests cancelling due to travel restrictions will have the option to change the date of their booking or accept a guest credit valid for up to 3 months or an extension at the Manager’s discretion may be granted. If you are unable to use this credit within the time frame authorised you can transfer the credit to another guest otherwise the credit will be forfeited.
- Any difference in booking value will need to be paid.
- We do not normally refund if you simply change your mind, your circumstances change or you make a wrong selection.
- Bookings are held until 5 pm, a non-arrival or no notification of late arrival will result in your total amount of your accommodation/site being charged in full. If you anticipate arriving late, ensure that you notify us beforehand of expected arrival time.
- In the event of a non-arrival the total of your accommodation/site booking may/will be charged in full.
Horseshoe Bay Resort Bowen – Policy for all reservations
Guests will be required to complete a Guest Declaration for all persons staying via a booking confirmation link or on arrival otherwise entry may be refused.
Please read the Guest Code Of Conduct on arrival and practice safe hygiene.
Social distancing must be adhered to within all amenities and facilities of the resort.
